Little Christmas Angel

Here is Kairi all dressed up in her Santa outfit at the Christmas party at her Abuela's house on Christmas eve. She was just gorgeous. My mom comes in tonight. I can't wait until she gets here. She is going to babysit for one whole day and me and Bertito are finally going to be able to get out by ourselves and go to the movies!!! Also, we're going to be able to go to dinner by ourselves. I mean, we have taken Kairi to restaurants before and she doesn't do anything embarassing. She doesn't cry or scream or anything... But most of the time, one of us will have to hold her for at least a little while. So this will be a baby free meal, where we can both use both hands for eating!!! Maybe we can even hold hands with each other! LOL

Kairi's First Christmas

Here is a picture of Kairi with her first visit to Santa Claus. We went to Downtown Disney and he was there, so we took a picture with him. Kairi still won't tell me what she asked him for. I guess she got it though, because she's happy as can be. She did make sure to pull him beard really hard though, and yes it was real. Christmas was good, I will post pictures later of her on Christmas eve at her Abuela's house. She was dressed up in a Santa outfit. You will have to see them, she was adorable!!! She got outfits, and stuffed Pooh bear and his friends. All together it was an AWESOME first Christmas!

Little Yankee

Just because I had a girl doesn't mean she can't wear Yankees clothes!!! Thanks to Yary for the wonderful Christmas gift from NY. When I opened the box I nearly died! There was a pink Yankees outfit in there for Kairi for every size up until 24 months!! I emailed the pic to a few NY friends already, my favorite comment was, "She looks so cute, you're starting her off right!" I'm getting over the flu, but hopefully I will be able to make it to Amy's church for Christmas Eve service. (I'm really going to try my hardest). Also, we are going out to Poinciana on Christmas day, even though they say that I'm going to have to work, that's NOT going to happen. And my mom will get here in just a few more days. I can't wait to see her!

Mikey

Just talking to an old friend about Mikey, so wanted to pay tribute to him. He's been gone almost 3 years now and I still miss him! To my bestest cat ever, Mikal J Cat.

Christmas Party!

Here is Maureen, Kairi and I as we were leaving the Christmas party. It was at the Contemporary this year, and they had performers from Cirque du Soliel. The entertainment was awesome! They had half naked men and women dancing around and doing the contortionist thing... very un-Disney, but everyone seemed to love it. The food was decent, and it was awesome that we had free alcohol! Most people I know around here for their holiday parties, they do not have that, they have to pay for drinks. Anyways, I sat at the table with Kairi, Bertito, Meghan, her friend Amanda, Janet, her husband Mike, Titi Susan, Jackie, Jackie's boyfriend, Maureen, Obed and Obed's wife. I think there was only supposed to be 8 people at the table, but we just kept pulling up chairs. Needless to say, Raul was a complete ass all night, all over Susan, it was quite amusing for the rest of us though. Kairi loved the lights and performers! Tonight, Susan and Maureen are coming over for a long awaited Borat party! LOL

Naked Baby!

Here is Kairi after her bath. This pic was taken today. You can see her gorgeous blue eyes! Lifes been good. Kairi keeps me happy all day everyday. She's so much fun to play with! We find out hopefully today if they are going to accept the offer on the house. If they do not let us know today, I think we might withdraw the offer, because they are just taking wayyy too long. So... there are some other options that we are entertaining. Bertito and I are both getting anxious though.

CEDA

Here is Kairi with Christine. Thanks for everything Ceda, it was good to see you and hang out, talk, catch up and everything. I'm so glad you are doing so well...and I hope you got my email about the address and everything. Raleigh for now, but we actually might be getting a house in Apopka. Not too far from where I am now, but on the other side of Orlando kinda. When are you coming to visit anyways? In the new house I will actually have 2 guest rooms!!! Awesome for plenty of visitors. When we went to see the house, there was a dog in the back, and it was chained up and looked completely malnourished. I was actually entertaining the idea of calling the SPCA, but it turns out that the owner is still living there, and so I guess they are taking care of it. Maybe we can ask them to leave the dog when they move out, so we can nurse it back to health.

Fashionable...

Here is Kairi in the ADORABLE outfit from Auntie Susan. She looks like a little fashion model. She wore this outfit on Friday, we were due to have a lot of visitors that day, so I wanted her to look extra cute. Well, she made it through Kruti's visit just fine, but before Desiree, she threw up on herself, so we had to put her in another cute outfit. The bad part was after Des, Christine was coming, and then Susan... so she didn't get to see Kairi in this outfit! At least I can show her the pictures.

Kairi and her Grandpa

Here is a picture of Kairi and her Pop Pop. He was reading this book to her the night before we left. The book was so sweet! My mom took like 100 pictures of him reading to her. My dad tried his best not to cry while he read it. He was really good with Kairi, holding her and stuff; but he was so funny if she would start fussing or something like that, he would be like, "Quick! Someone get her Bo Bo!" or "Quick! Someone take her!". I think he was a little afraid of her. That will get better with time though I guess. It's too bad I'm not going to be able to be with my family for Christmas, but my mom is going to come down after Christmas and leave before New Years, so at least I will be able to see her around that time.
