Kairi in Maryland

Here is Kairi and her Grammy, with PopPop in the background. This was right before we left for Thanksgiving dinner which was at my sisters house. Grammy never wanted to put Kairi down during the whole trip. Not including her trip to church on Sunday, Kairi met about 25 new people; including her Great Grandma on my dad's side! She even said her first word on Saturday the 26th, "HI!" and keeps saying it still constantly! I guess she was seeing so many new people and heard "Hi" so many times, that she learned how to say it. I got to see the very pregnant Mashel and Tyesha and their husbands and I rubbed the bellies! (Hopefully what happened to them won't happen to me again...) Extra thanks to Desiree for all of the wonderful gifts. Dominick is SO big and GORGEOUS!!! Soon he and Kairi can chase kitties together.

Kairi and Grammy

Here is the last time Kairi was with her Grammy. It was August 10th, 2006. Wow! Kairi has grown a lot since then. I am really nervous about taking her on the plane. Not so much with her ears, although I know that is really going to hurt her, but I'm worried about taking her formula and all that stuff for her on the plane. They are making such a big deal about liquids and all that crap, even though there are exceptions for babies, but I still hope everything goes smoothly. If they don't let us take her bottles with formula on the plane, they are going to have to deal with a screaming baby for a few hours.

Here is Kairi in one of her smiley photo sessions, what a gorgeous smile!!! Tomorrow we leave for Maryland for Thanksgiving. I am nervous about Kairi getting on the plane, but I am all packed and ready to go. Kairi has a GIANT suitcase, and I have me and Bertito's things packed in a little suitcase. Isn't it funny how life changes after a baby? It's not all about me anymore, and I'm good with that. Well, I'm definately going to see Christine, Mashel and Desiree when I'm there, in addition to family members. I think I'm going to see Kruti and Susan too, but nothing for sure. Anyone else who might see this who would like to meet up, you know the numbers, give me a call and let me know!

Kairi and her Cousin

Here is a picture of Kairi with her favorite cousin Julieanna. You may remember, she was the flower girl for Bertito and my wedding. Saturday, we visited Bertito's mom and family in Poinciana. Julie loved holding Kairi and Kairi loved being held by her cousin! Today Kairi went to get her 4 month shots. They did 4 again, 2 in each thigh. The first 3 shots, Kairi had no reaction, just fidgeted a little. The last one, well that one really hurt. She was crying. But I was ok this time, I did not cry this time thank God!

Kamar de los Reyes

Here is Kairi and I with Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio Vega from One Life to Live). He smelled really good, but he's either a little slow, or a little deaf. I spelled Kairi's name for him really loud in his ear, "K-A-I-R-I" and he wrote down, Kaire. So... despite that, he was really nice.

Bree Williamson

Here is a picture of Kairi and I with Bree Williamson who plays Jessica Buchanan on One Life to Live. She was so gorgeous in person and just loved Kairi! She kept complimenting her, saying that her eyes are so pretty and she was the cutest baby... (duh!) I have to say, when Bree first came on the show, I didn't know that she was a new actress. I thought the old Jessica (Erin Torpey) got a face lift or something, because the old one was just plain ugly. Then one day, she was gorgeous. It turns out it was just a new actress who looked like Erin, only pretty.

David Fumero

Here is me and Kairi with David Fumero (Cristian Vega on One Life to Live). He is the first man not related to her to fall in love with her. Too bad she was asleep most of the time... she will thank me when she's older. :)
On the photo he autographed for her he wrote "To Kairi, Best Wishes! You are Beautiful!!!" Yes, she is!!!

Super Soap Weekend

Here is a picture of me and Kairi with Kassie DePaiva who plays Blair on One Life to Live. We were to Super Soap Weekend on Sunday with Bertito at MGM studios. I actually went Saturday and was supposed to meet someone there, but she stood me up. So I left when I realized that she wasn't coming. So... Sunday was MUCH better. I got to meet and take pictures with the actors who play Blair, Jessica, Antonio and Cristian. We also got Adriana's autograph. I have been watching OLTL since I was about 12 years old with my sister... so it was really cool getting to meet these people. Kassie and Bree were definately the nicest there. But everyone was saying how gorgeous Kairi was (of course she is!) and did autographed pictures for her. She will thank me when she's older and she sees how hot David Fumero and Kamar de los Reyes are!!!

Walking

No! Kairi is not walking, but this is her before we left for our daily walk yesterday. She looked so cute all propped up in the big girl stroller, so I had to take a picture. Tomorrow we are going to Super Soap Weekend. We are going just to see the stars of One Life to Live. It's at MGM Studios, so of course I get in free. I'm going to meet Merideth there. I tried to get some other people to go, but I guess none of my friends really like Soap Operas!

Here is a new picture of Kairi. She looks just like a perfect angel. I think to date I have over 1,000 pictures of her. It's really incredible, and awesome with technology. I believe I've only seen about 10 pictures of myself as an infant. Pretty cool...
