For Yahaira-THANK YOU!

You are friendly, kind and caring
Sensitive, loyal and understanding
Humorous, fun, secure and true
Always there... yes that's you.

Special, accepting, exciting and wise
Truthful and helpful, with honest brown eyes
Confiding, forgiving, cheerful and bright
Yes that's you... not one bit of spite.

You're one of a kind, different from others
Generous, charming, but not one that smothers
Optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
But not just another... in the long chain.

Appreciative, warm and precious like gold
Our friendship won't tarnish or ever grow old
You'll always be there, I know that is true
I'll always be here... always for you.

Newlyweds

So Mash, we had so much fun going all around Disney. Although our feet killed! and I wound up doing half of the day in a wheelchair, it was awesome. By far the most fun was on Thursday (after you had to suffer of course), at Typhoon Lagoon water park. We went not expecting to have as much fun as we did. It was awesome. Even Shells afterward was delicious! We will definitely be having to go back to visit there many times again. Then Friday, we started at MGM, did all the fun stuff, like Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster with Aerosmith; moved to Epcot, ate delicious food in Italy. We missed Soarin', but had a blast on Test Track and got to go inside the ball! Finally, we ventured over to Magic Kingdom, although at that point I needed a wheelchair. It was awesome though, because we got to get the front of every ride including Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Snow White (a true classic), Splash Mountain (which was a huge mistake, we were SOAKED afterwards) and finally Big Thunder Mountain. The best part of the evening for me was seeing Minnie's house and finally getting to see the fireworks at 9 pm over Cinderella's Castle. Although we were completely exhausted by the time we got home at around midnight, it was a fun day and I'm glad the newlyweds got to see pretty much all of the highlights of Disney. I hope you guys come back soon!!!

3 new babies!!

I finally got the pic to upload! This is Michu, our cat here, she just gave birth a week ago. I came home from work and I heard her meowing. I found her in the backyard. She was following me around like crazy, and I knew it was because she was about to go into labor. Bertito and I were trying to find a comfortable place for her to go, and finally we got her a little blanket and put it in the corner of the closet. If either of us left the bedroom for a second, she would come out and wouldn't stop crying until we went back in the room with her. Finally after a lot of pushing a kitten came out! He was so cute, but never took a first breath, he was dead :( Shortly after came an all black cat who I named Chococat. He's actually in the picture, but you probably can't see him. He's right under Michu's head. I thought she was done. She was cleaning off the baby and seemed like she was finished, but a while later, she started pushing again and 2 black and white babies came out. They look EXACTLY alike, except one of them has a small white spot on his back and the other one doesn't. So I named them Chip and Dale. The one with the spot is Chip, cause it's a white Chocolate Chip on him. LOL. I guess this was an experience to get me prepared for what is to come...

It's for real!

Well here's one of the sonogram picture from 15 weeks. This is just a picture taken from my digital camera of the picture, so not that great for quality, but you get the point. I didn't know where I could find a scanner, since I got rid of mine, so this is the best it's going to get for now. Mashal, I can't wait to see you tomorrow. We will have so much fun going all around Disney.

15 Weeks

Here is a picture of my belly at 15 weeks. It kinda looks exactly the same as the picture I put on here when I was 11 weeks. I had my first sonogram yesterday, and they said I am exactly 15 weeks now, which is exactly what I had originally said. During the sonogram, the baby would not stay still for one second. It was really hard for the nurse to be able to property check on everything with it moving around like that. At first the nurse said that she didn't see any boy parts, but then towards the end, she thought she did see them. Needless to say, we still do not know the sex. It was kind of hard to be able to see because not only did the baby have it's legs crossed, but the embilical cord was all wrapped up in there too. Hopefully on the next sonogram when I am 20 weeks, we will be able to see what the sex is. We have a lot of pictures from the sonogram, but until I find out a way to get them onto the computer, they will not be able to be put up here. Another really cool thing was that next time we go in there, we can bring a video tape and they can actually record the whole sonogram. Check back for more updates.

It's been a while...

I just realized that I haven't wrote in here in way too long. I've been in training for work for a week. It's been absolute hell waking up at 4 am every morning. I've been lucky to stop temporarily with the throwing up every 10 minutes. I say temporarily because I lasted the first 4 days of the week puke free, and then the last day, I got sick as soon as I got out of bed. So is it over? I guess that has yet to be seen. I just had 2 days off from waking up at an ungodly hour, and I was sick for both of those days. I had my first prenatal appointment today, and they gave me an estimate due date of August 15th, which is my dads birthday! Whatever day he/she decides to come out, we're looking at yet another Leo in the family. Although I certainly think that I look a LOT fatter, I have only gained one pound since finding out I am pregnant. I still have no belly, which is a good thing I guess. I'm about 15 weeks now, so the time to be showing is upon us. I have started to get cravings, and fortunately for Bertito they haven't been too hard to get to. The picture of us above is when we met up with Amy, her mom and Pedro for her mom's birthday dinner at Outback. It was the night before I began training classes SUPER early; which is why I still look happy... hehehe.
